The Brief
On February 12th, 2024, the Chatterjee Group inaugurated the newly acquired FDY Plant at the Jolwa site in Surat, formerly owned by Garden Vareli.
The event was attended by senior dignitaries, including Smt. Darshana Jardosh, Minister of State for Textiles and Railways, Government of India, and Mr. Purnendu Chatterjee, Managing Director of the Chatterjee Group.
The Execution
A special hangar, measuring 40m x 40m, was constructed to host 500 guests. The event's focal point was a stage (60' x 20' x 2'6") with a 35' x 12'6" backdrop, complemented by strategic branding and a welcoming entrance arch.
The seating arrangements, including VVIP sections and dining areas, ensured comfort and facilitated interactions.
The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting by Smt. Darshana Jardosh, symbolizing the plant's official opening, followed by a guided tour showcasing the plant's advancements.
